Oh boy, I did it all by myself! Here is a picture of Mathias and I at the top of a hill overlooking our new city, Arvika, at the end of January. It was a beautiful winter hike and we drank warm nypon soppa (rosehip soup) at the summit. We are actually on a tower whose steps were much more like a ladder. We could see people out on the lake behind us using sails and skates zooming across the ice.

a picture!

I hope you won't be upset that i created a blog too, but it seemed the only way to comment on yours...
So here are the questions, i'll try to remember:
Does Värmland mean warm land? because I have my doubts about that... Is Arvika behind you on the picture? if so it must be pretty small, i can't see anything that looks like a house :)
I hope we will be able to come visit this summer and see all these places for real, and taste nypon soppa!
